One of the main functionalities that we have in Tensoft SemiOps is the generation of forms like packing slips and shipping labels during the shipment of finished goods to customers. If you need to print any labels before a shipping label, then you can do that too.
For example, you need to create a product packing label for a packaging step. Usually, a vendor may do that on their own as you send products from vendor to vendor. If for whatever reason you need to create your own labels for a specific step, then you have an option to do it in SemiOps. You can retrieve attribute data from your purchase order, work order combinations and put that data into labels for reels or boxes that need to be sent out. This data includes things like manufacturing part numbers, country of origin, industry standard lead-free logos, restriction of hazardous materials and specific vendor related data that you may need in your re-labels to send them.
Here is an example of a Product Packing label:
In the screenshot above, you can see information like country of origin, RoHS Compliant, lead free, specifications for temperature and trace codes.
In some cases, you may need to create these labels for certain stages of production. Maybe you need a reel label for a package that needs to be sent to a clean room environment or anything that needs to be dry sealed or you have a shipping area that is not a clean room environment. You will need to specify all attributes of data at the time of your creation of your purchase release or your purchase order work order combo. You can put that data onto these labels and generate them in SemiOps.
